"Steelhead Alley" Lake Erie Steelhead River Report and Update!

The PA Lake Erie Tributaries are now on the low and clear side, and the Ohio Tributaries are looking pretty good! More precipitation is on the way and I hope we get every bit of it to keep the fish moving in and upstream. It was great to see a few days of sustained rain and river flows early on this season... This has really spread the fish out nicely and a small number of steelhead have already reached Folly's End on the Elk..

The best part of this young season is that the fish are BIG!!! I can't remember a season where we had fish of this caliber! The Saying "There's no place like home" feels like a serious understatement!!! It was nice to finally catch fish capable of shaking the images of Arctic Char and Silvers from Alaska out from the fore front of my mind!!!

We will be out almost daily from here on out, so we'll have more for you later.. The top right hand side of this blog will have current and up to date reports through out the entire season, don't hesitate to call us at 419-466-9382 or email us at gregsenyo@yahoo.com if you have any questions or need assistance while on the Alley. Were here to help in any way possible... Have a great fall season!!
